Once again we spent an amazing day at our honored friend Venancio Tadeo’s home in Mooresville and the CFC members truly shined. Vennie as always provided wardrobe for so many of our incredible models and our photographers were out creating magic. A huge thank you to everyone that participated in this event. Mecklenburg County Recycle the Runway 2024

April 20, Northlake Mall

The CFC was out at this years Recycle the Runway 2024. We love participating in this event every year because it celebrates fashion, the importance of taking care of our environment and shines a light on the incredible talent we have here in Mecklenburg County Schools. Schools participate in designing, creating, and modeling original designs made from 100% recycled materials. The winners in four different categories take home over $10,000 in cash awards for their school. This year’s winners were Lake Norman Charter for both Crowd Favorite, and Greatest use of Recyclable Materials, Best in Show went to providence High School, and most Creative use of Recyclable Materials went to Mallard Creek. This years designs were absolutely outstanding and we were once again honored to be a part of this incredible show

NWSA Spring Fashion Show

The Charlotte Fashion Collective was honored to shoot The Spring Fashion show at Northwest School of the Arts. Once again NWSA proved to show the incredible talent NWSA and Charlotte is releasing onto the world of fashion. These kids are artist, creators and most importantly incredible story-tellers. We can not wait to see what they do next!!!!!!

Macys Northlake Mall 2024

The CFC is so excited to announce our new partnership with Macy’s at The Northlake Mall. Macy’s dedication to Charlotte and our fashion community is right in-line with everything CFC!!! We were out this past weekend at their first show this year and we had an incredible time and met some amazing people. And CFC Members will get to join the Macy’s team on the runway. this year at our yearly show!!!

Models, photographers and all other CFC talents showed once more what magic collaboration can do. The Art of Michael Hull Workshop

Michael Hull is a Photographer living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. Starting on an Art journey from the age of 5, illustrations, and painting were the mediums that developed his classic skills of understanding light and shadow, and how to compose images developed. Over 40 years later, Photography has become an all encompassing pursuit, where the intent is to create an image that transcends the photographer, and becomes its own reality.

A New Universe

10/15/22 – Midtown Ballroom, Charlotte, NC

CFC’s gave birth to its very own fashion event and runway show, which was also the beginning of a new yearly tradition. To celebrate its first year, CFC held it’s inaugural event, A New Universe. The theme was “CFC is ushering a new phase of Fashion in Charlotte: One that is representative of the artists that design, create and deliver Fashion to the community.” which CFC members have successfully delivered.

I’M Possible Winter Fest Fashion Show

The I’M Possible show was an event that makes all of us at the CFC proud to be at the forefront of fashion here in Charlotte. Celebrating people is truly what fashion is all about. It is our sense of expression and style, it is a way for us bring our passion to life.
